Privacy Policy

MQDB is a static site. It does not run its own server or database, and it does not require an account to read or use.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly service that does not use cookies or collect personal data, to see how many people visit the site.

Advertising

Pages may show display ads served by an ad network. Ad networks can use cookies or similar technology to show relevant ads; consult the ad network's own privacy policy for details on their data practices.

Affiliate links

Some links are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, MQDB earns from qualifying purchases. Clicking a link does not cost you anything extra.

Newsletter

If you sign up for New Release Tuesday, your email address is held by Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter. We use it to send you the weekly email and nothing else, we do not sell or share it, and every email has an unsubscribe link. The link in each email is the same for everyone who gets that week's email, so opening it tells us nothing about you personally.

Local storage

Your theme preference (light or dark) is saved in your browser's local storage. So is the code from a watchlist email, so that the page still opens for you without the link. Both stay on your device and are never sent to us.
